Red Dead Redemption 2 has become my favorite video game of all time. In my head, I can’t stop casting a RDR movie. Wanna help? 
First, I think it’s obvious that Ian McShane is Dutch. Yes, I know he was already in Deadwood. I don’t care. It’s too perfect. If this man had a plan, I would follow.
Arthur is a tough pick. He’s got to be mid-30s, world-weary and built like an oak. Young Sam Elliot would be pretty good, but not intimidating enough. I don’t have a pick for this yet.
David Harbour will make a great Bill Williamson. He’s got the size and the forehead. I think he could really lean into a sadistic character too. (Maybe a decent Arthur pick too.)
Sadie Adler is a badass. I think Rhea Seehorn would kill it.
Micah Bell needs to be a captivating. He slinks around like a coyote, wounded but dangerous. I think of Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler, but it’s not quite right. Young Ted Levine is perfect.
Laura Cohen would be a great Abigail. She can do fiery, she’s got the twang. They even look alike.
Mrs. Grimshaw? Kathy Goddamn Bates.
We’ve got lots of characters left to figure out. John Marston, obviously. Lenny, Javier, Charles. I need help. Get in here, @GenePark.
