Meanwhile, these ads objectifying women as sex objects flood the internet, appear on almost all 'respectable' Korean news sites, and more

If it's not degrading gif videos of women, it's ads for penile enlargement surgery. Either way, it comes down to men wanting to pull their pants down.

I think I've made my point: Korean internet/media is flooded with disgusting messages that women=sex. Meanwhile, men are portrayed as strong, powerful, authoritative. While this is just a slice of the problem, it's no wonder #metoo has exploded in Korea.
