With the exception of @realDonaldTrump & @BernieSanders, top 2020 presidential candidates' followers on Twitter were dominated by fake bots. Kamala Harris and Cory Booker clearly attempted to purge their fakes before getting someone noticed. Big Media push for Harris helped. 
That compares to Trump & Sanders, who have had high audit ratings and apparently never needed to purge their accounts en masse like @CoryBooker and @KamalaHarris. Obviously the more followers, the more potential for fakes.

Most are majority fake until they announce their bids, then they swap the fakes out for the real.
We did before and afters BC we suspected they would purge the fakes after, and replace them with real ones. Like Elizabeth Warren, for instance.
