Atiku 'I will sell NNPC ' a man who criticized the FG decision to sell some assets back in 2018. Why is he hell bent on selling NNPC? His cronies are waiting of course. He is the definition of crony capitalism.
His friends must remain rich not the masses

In October the FG mooted the idea of selling some assets to fund the budget

1. NICON insurance
2. SAHCOL

Concessioning of warri port terminal B
Partial concessioning of some National parks
Partial commercialization of Nipost
Commercialization of River basin Authoritites
He criticized it but all of a sudden his eyes are on NNPC. Old habits die hard, he sold of ALSCON, NITEL..They killed Nigerian Airways because they couldn't get their preferred buyer in the deal.
Privatization must benefit the public but Atiku hasn't shown over the years that
He has the interest of the public at heart. Privatization is the easiest way of stealing our common wealth.

ALSCON, Nigerdock, transcorp Hilton, Daily times, NAFCON

NEPA was privatized in a shoddy manner, PMB had to come in and bail them out again..

Siemens and òther firms bid for our power plants but they were sold off to cronies for peanuts. Companies without money and capacity to operate. Now we are battling to scale the hurdle. Fashola had to loan them funds..

Madam Oby Ezekwesili said that Atiku was her biggest obstacle while she was establishing the Due process office. Atiku preferred  an economic space where opacity and arbitrariness ruled.  Atiku has not contradicted Oby Ezekwesili’s revelations till date.
If he criticised the sale of public assets in October 2018, why is he singing this tune with NNPC?
A man that criticised the partial sale of NICON wants to put up the entire NNPC for sale..
Siemens in partnership with the Egyptian government built a 14,400MW power plant in record time. Our own NEPA was sold to people who cannot purchase and distribute prepaid meters as little as this is..5 years after..

NITEL was finally sold for 49bn, you guys need to cry and weep for Nigeria. We need to put on sack clothes and mourn.

NITEL had offices in all state capital pan Nigeria. Regardless of the liabilities..

Buildings across states, tallest building in Lagos, phone booths, masts..
All the Telco infrastructure for a meagre 49bn naira..

Buhari has to pay their pensions now..

We all scream PDP brought GSM, this is a silly statement. Ghana had GSM as far back as 1996, MTN had gotten to Cameroon in 2000.

What PDP did was to kill NITEL !!! A child that cannot crawl wont run. Now landlines have disappeared, phone booths have disappeared
In Shanghai the government converted the public phone booths to wireless hotspots..

Some homes in the US still use landlines even though mobile technology has come to threaten the existence.
