@SharylAttkisson Republican of self-governing states with powers vested locally rather than in D.C. We have a standing Federal Army/Navy which the constitution clearly states should not happen unless we are at war and then must be re- approved by congress every few years. (2)

@GovAbbott & @realDonaldTrump please allow the @USDOL to extend unemployment in #TX for those Federal Employees who are ON THE JOB without pay. In #TX this includes @TSA Officers, #AirTrafficControllers, @USCG members, @NWS Employees, and MANY more who protect life & property.(1)
Since the weather is my expertise I will focus there. am an elected official and life-long @GOP member and I support the border wall and improved border security 100%! There is a way to allow states to help those Federal Workers who are STILL ON THE JOB but not getting paid.(2)
@potus @realDonaldTrump These dedicated Federal Employees including those at the @nws protect the life and property of the people of the state of Texas 24/7. They are caught in this @SpeakerPelosi / @SenSchumer shut-down over border security they have voted for in the past!(3)

2) DOJ (Edward O’Callaghan) and ODNI (Dan Coats). The meeting was set up by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, and the purpose of the meeting is to come to some agreement on access to documents being withheld by the DOJ, DOJ-NSD and FBI.

(h/t DM) BIG QUESTION: Does anyone believe WikiLeaks "guessed" the password of a left-wing PAC? They hacked the website, folks: a crime. Then they as good as told Trump Jr. they'd done so. What did he do? Accessed the hacked site using the hacked password. theatlantic.com/politics/archi…
2/ Jr. then sent a message acknowledging he saw the site, but said he wanted his reaction to be "off the record"—which many would say meant he a) didn't want to be publicly linked to WikiLeaks, b) didn't want it known he'd accessed the site using the password WikiLeaks gave him.
3/ Jr. had previously said "I love it" when offered info he reasonably could have assumed was stolen, which makes it twice—at least—he reacted positively to being offered info he knew or reasonably should have known was stolen.

This is how criminal investigations start, folks.
