9 Reasons to apply to EMCL8
👉Applications due Feb 28

1. Learn to integrate:

⭐️ #openscience into your workflow
⭐️ learn to write a #registeredreport BY DOING!!!
⭐️ all in an interdisciplinary setting focused on working together as a team
2. You'll also learn to keep an open lab notebook.

3. You'll help create a special journal issue focused on walking researchers through the steps of doing open science, from idea to open notebook to registered report.
4. Teachers are top caliber, diverse & international: 8 women 4 men.

5. Cheap! Tuition is free & travel to Estonia is cheap (+/- 200 Euros in Summer!)

6. #Greenscience event: Bring your own cups!
7. We take participant safety seriously. See our Code of Conduct: sisu.ut.ee/emcl8tartu/cod…

8. We welcome differently abled participants.
9. You'll meet great people & build long-lasting professional relationships, 'cause thats what happens when you work in a team! The myth of the lone genius is over-rated and long due for a funeral.

App deadline is Thurs, Feb 28, anywhere in the world! 😇
For anyone confused about the 'anywhere in the world' bit, it means that we'll accept applications as long as it's still Feb 28 somewhere on the planet. If you live in Continental Europe, that means March 1 at 13:00. In the UK, it means 12:00, etc. :-)
Forgot reason 10 to apply to EMCL8: Open Science & Transparency Methods

Application process is anonymous! Applications will be judged strictly on professional merits. Mini-lab leaders will not even know your name until after selection.
