For the last two weeks, we’ve been investigating the connection between AMI's leak of Jeff Bezos' personal texts and selfies, and Saudi Arabia - and we've found more convergences of timing than can possibly be a coincidence. Article here, thread follows: thedailybeast.com/how-the-saudis…
This previous thread explores how AMI coordinated with the Saudis to publish a PR magazine for MBS. They then insisted no coordination, even though there’s proof they did coordinate.
AMI was deeply in debt - $1.3 billion deep - before they built a relationship with the Saudis. After the magazine incident, their agent received a $400m investment from the Saudis. A few months later, despite being in debt, AMI bought out its biggest competitor for $80 million.
Last summer, AMI declared they were seeking to raise some $425 million. You know when they successfully raised the amount (and a bit more), and “restructured all debt”? One day before they published the Jeff Bezos hit piece.
But why would the Saudi regime want to knock Jeff Bezos down? Well, he owns the Washington Post, which employed Jamal Khashoggi, which MBS killed. There’s a clear attempt by the Saudis to link Bezos to the Washington Post and seek to punish him for its reporting.
MBS and his advisers use Twitter for social control - but this also allows us to do some reverse-engineering to figure out what they’re up to. This was the idea of none other than Khashoggi - we were working with him on this at the time of his murder.

So what does the social media trail shows? It shows that the Saudi government Twitter networks have been disparaging @JeffBezos since Oct 15 - that’s just a week after Jamal’s murder was confirmed. Article linked above has samples, more will be coming on our website.
@JeffBezos The Saudi Twitter networks didn’t just lash out at Bezos in an uncontrolled way - there was method to the madness. Will be tweeting/writing more about this very soon. The campaigns peaked in November, with activity dying down in December.
@JeffBezos Notably, the campaign against @JeffBezos employed not just tweets but also cartoons and videos; it crossed over to print media and TV. It also employed several antisemitic tropes, calling Bezos a "Jew" (he's not Jewish).

@JeffBezos And we have a lot more to come on this story, this is the tip of an iceberg. If you want to keep up, we'll be publishing the rest on our website arabtyrantmanual.com
