This is *the* key question, and I honestly feel that public officials fail to ask it because they don’t want the answers to be contemplated.
How the HELL will we pay for a submerged East Coast, a burnt California, and a scorched breadbasket?

Suddenly bold climate change reform feels like the most realistic thing.
How did “doing nothing” and “slow methodical change” become the only two pragmatic approaches rather than dangerously extremist ones? When did our orbit take us to this logical dark side of moon?

If we still think the future will arrive, we should act like it.
Remember when Titanic won the Oscar? Does that memory seem recent.

How will we pay for not affording change?
