Freelancers and small agencies: don't be afraid that defining your niche means that's the only work you'll ever do.

Our niche is non-technical founders.

In the past month, we've closed Roadmapping Sessions with 3 awesome technical founders in the security space.
We're considering building more around this new niche, but we won't abandon the positioning we've built up. We'll do a few projects, write some landing pages, run some marketing campaigns and then observe.
There may come a point where it makes sense to make a hard shift in the overall brand and positioning of the company. But we're nowhere near that, and that's fine.
Caveat: there is power in staying focused. By staying focused on our current niche we continue to build up content and expertise. But we're taking a small risk to explore a potentially big opportunity. It's all about balance.
