Can't tell you how excited I am to get this in the hands of the world
Let's break down what's going on here:

That's a website widget. It can slide in when someone's engaging with your site, and invites them to self-segment.

Our stats show 10-50% will bite at a good first question. (This used to surprise me. People loove talking about themselves.)
If we'd already known their industry (because of their reading habits… or perhaps they're a returning subscriber who's already been tagged as a retailer…) then we wouldn't ask again. That'd be bad manners.
Asked a question or two? Cool. Now we pitch an APPROPRIATE offer.

It's something they HAVEN'T GOT FROM YOU YET. And it's what we've determined would help them best, based on who they are (a retail CEO, in this thrown together example).
It's also ONLY asking for their email address because they're a new anonymous visitor.

If they come back later, you might choose to pitch something else (still based on their persona, that we're gradually building up)—and they'll be able to accept WITHOUT RETYPING their email
At that point the persona we're building up isn't JUST based on their interactions with your site: it can also take advantage of anything they've done in your email marketing tool (tags, custom fields, trigger links…)
Oh - and the fact they're a retail CEO would have been written to their new subscriber record in your email marketing tool when they first opted in, too. That'd happen even if they told us they were in retail a little while ago, before opting in.
Any new questions they answer (you might prefer to just drip out one at a time) will make their way to their subscriber record in your email marketing tool too. We want you to have a complete view of that person in one place.
Maybe you then email out a new blog post. They originally opted in on their computer, but they read this post on their phone.

YOUR WEB SITE ON THEIR PHONE WON'T BUG THEM TO OPT IN—RightMessage is smart enough to know that they're already subscribed. (And already a retailer, etc)
It's your existing website, and your existing email marketing tool, completely in sync. Offering the most appropriate thing for EACH VISITOR, at that moment, and hiding all other competing CTAs.
It's not just one widget, either. Also want to pitch at the bottom of your blog posts? Or in a modal? etc? That's cool too. You can pitch that same most appropriate thing. Or something else based on what they're reading. All point-and-click. Just set up your funnel.
People have been asking me how to do even a fraction of this for years. Probably about once a day I'm asked about this stuff. I'm so excited to finally be able to give a complete (and zero-code) answer to how to achieve ALL of it. 😬😬😬
