Trump isn’t haven’t a very good week. His propaganda network got exposed for what it really is, he bungled North Korea because his old fixer was telling everyone how corrupt he is (and he’s an awful negotiator, tbh), now his old lawyer is pretty much saying he’s going to jail.
Guys, people are being too literal here.

No, Cobb didn’t say Trump is going to jail. His quote in the article is 100% based on “collusion” and speculation from reading court documents.

He has no idea what Mueller has. Nor is collusion Mueller’s only mandate. 1/2
If Mueller is allowed to finish his investigation in a legitimate way — as it appears he will be — the final report is going to be devastating for Trump.

The obstruction of justice case is already rock-solid just based on public info — BEFORE Trump tried to interfere with SDNY.

Okay. So. It's time once again for me to do that thing I do: a deep dive into Trump's state of the union speech.
For new followers who've tuned in since the last time I did this, bear in mind I am not a factchecker. That's a different (though related) skill set and best done by people with the training, resources, and editorial oversight that I don't have.
What I do have is a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people who don't like long, reflective Twitter threads or believe it's possible to overthink something.
