This is pretty good. I personally think it would be a huge mistake for DSA to endorse Bernie or any other candidate. Socialism is about building power from below. Focus on that! All a presidential endorsement would do is divide a new organization and suck energy from building.
If socialism means "going all in for a single presidential candidate," well, that's not socialism.

Obviously, individuals should spend their organizing energy on whatever they want. But as an organization, an endorsement would be catastrophic, in my view.
I really believe it would be an act of significant political maturity for DSA to backseat the Democratic Party primary and instead focus on getting its own members elected to various local seats, keep building the organization, and fighting injustice in its various communities.
