Sure but successful at what.
My instinctive reaction was 'she's lying.' More disturbing is the likelihood she's accurately reflecting her party's metrics for success.
Vulnerable people across the spectrum are now more vulnerable. The corrupt have had the path to corruption eased.
LGBT and POC and Muslims now live with a far greater sense of fear and menace. Our foreign policy is far less receptive to diplomacy.
The disparity of wealth between the most wealthy and the rest of us has widened and will continue to widen.
Institutions that serve a purpose beyond profit (military, justice, prison, education, etc.) have been increasingly opened to privatization.
White supremacy organizations have moved from the fringe to the halls of power and the White House press room.
The idea of journalism and government as valuable human endeavors have been subjected to doubt and attack.
I think we're making a mistake if we don't think that there are many in this country for whom this does not constitute success.
Depending on what you consider 'success,' Donald Trump might well be considered a very successful president.
When people tell you they think Trump's doing great, consider the possibility they aren't delusional, but rather are revealing themselves.
Consider that they are, w/o meaning to, revealing priorities & values that they perhaps have not even allowed themselves to know they hold.
People will usually tell you what they really think, if you have ears to hear it.

Anyway, nice quote about your successful president, Sarah
See, when what you desire, politically speaking, is corporate corruption, having a corrupt president is pretty good.
A corrupt president will sign your garbage bill stripping citizens' protections against the outsized financial power of enormous banks.
Bingo.
When what you desire is an authoritarian state that disallows dissent, an authoritarian president is pretty good.
I really think we have to break ourselves of this myth that both sides have good intentions, and that our divide is caused by anger.
Our divide is caused by abuse. Our divide is caused by people being deliberately harmed.
Our divide is a stab wound. Pointing out the man with the knife is not the divide.
Our divide is a wound. Insisting that the wound be stitched up rather than deliberately and persistently deepened is not the divide.
Our divide is a wound. Debating over how deep the wound should be and how much more blood should come out of it is not a solution.
When people tell you how good they think our lurch toward fascism is believe them. And don't trust them anymore even if you still love them.
OK, *now* I think I'm done, good morning by the way how are etc.
