Richmond’s new FBI chief was lead agent in Mueller’s office

FBI Director Christopher Wray named David Archey as the new head of the Richmond office, the bureau announced Friday. wtop.com/virginia/2019/…
"Archey began his FBI career in 2001. He most recently worked as a deputy assistant director in the Counterintelligence Division at FBI headquarters and was assigned as the FBI senior lead at the special counsel’s office."

He says the FBI has created a Foreign Influence Task Force to identify and counteract foreign influence operations targeting the U.S.

From a counterintelligence perspective, Wray says China is the most significant and long-term threat.
