#SCOTUS, March 11, 2019. I dropped off my hard pass today, as I won’t be covering the court full-time in my new job. ... I will, however, continue covering death penalty stays and writing at times about aspects of the court relevant to my new job. More on that to come.
For now, I just want to express my gratitude for the fact that I’ve been able to cover the Supreme Court’s work for the past decade. It’s been and honor and a privilege for this Law Dork. (I’m in there!)
The court and justices will always be relevant to my work, whatever it is, though, so this isn’t a goodbye.
And for those who missed the news of my new job, here it is. I start in mid-April:
