All I ever hear about @tedcruz is what a devastating debater he is -- what a brilliant argumentative mind. And he consistently makes the most transparently idiotic contentions, with all the grace of a monkey masturbating with a hammer.
The essential @tedcruz, who was a year behind me in college, is that he asked to join a poker game that some friends of mine had in their room. He lost a lot money and had to call his aunt to get it, because his parents would be furious if they found out he was gambling...
My recollection is that his aunt wasn't too happy about it, either. So Ted reported the game to a dean, who shut it down and told them to give Ted his money back (well, his aunt's money.)
