The Nellie Ohr transcripts are out.

We have two articles that detail elements from her transcript.

As with the previous transcripts released, the Nellie transcript we've previously reviewed appears to be 100% identical to the one released today by Collins.

Also, I'm not seeing any redactions in this one from Collins.
Note how many times Marital Privilege is invoked. Far more than happened in Bruce Ohr's interview.

Also, Nellie's attitude approaches what I would [non-legally] term a hostile witness.

1) Another two items to consider re: John Dowd @DawsonSField

On March 17, Dowd emailed a statement to the Daily Beast (below). He claimed to be speaking for @realDonaldTrump but later said he was speaking for himself.

On March 22, Dowd resigned from President Trump's legal team
2) In a recent interview w/Byron York, Dowd claimed that Mueller was interviewed on May 16 by Trump and Rosenstein for the position of FBI Director.

This would seem to be highly unlikely. And a surprising stance for Dowd to put forth.

Dowd was also not present at the meeting.
3) That Mueller would be considered for FBI Director seems highly unlikely.

Mueller, then ~72 yrs old, had previously served as the FBI Director from 2001 to 2013—two years beyond the normal 10-year tenure for an FBI Director.

This also required special approval from Congress.

Per Nunes, we know there was no official intelligence used to open the FBI Counterintelligence Investigation into the Trump Campaign on July 31, 2016
3) The FBI was informed on July 22, 2016, of the Papadopoulos–Downer conversation.

A conversation that appeared to have been set up in advance by Downer.

However, Downer's version of events make the actual conversation seem almost pedestrian.

#Ohr's good buddy Alan Bersin and my former colleague Dennis K. Burke who I am now suing for defamation were in Arizona constantly meeting with McCain and his people while Bersin had a multi-million $$ "consulting" contract on the new Mexico City Airport. Bersin is one of HRC's
best friends and was a Rhodes scholar with Bill Clinton at Oxford, he introduced Bill and Hillary to each other. He was also a director of INTERPOL and Marco Lopez's former boss at CBP, Marco (my former friend and biz. partner ~10 years) is now Carlos Slims's top aide
I have no doubt whatsoever it will surface that Bersin, Burke and others from Janet Napolitano's #ArizonaMafia were involved in promoting or even conceiving the witch hunt on behalf of #Mexico. Ask around in AZ circles to people who know. Start chasing down these leads.

March update on the biggest Japanese companies in the UK and what they are doing in response to Brexit (or if you prefer, global trends in the car industry, nuclear power, IT etc). There are around 1,000 companies, employing 160,000 people. 1/
1. The Fujitsu group continues to be the biggest Japanese employer in 🇬🇧(>8,300). Employee numbers have dropped by 2,000 since 2016 + further restructuring in Europe started Oct 2018, including shutting Augsburg factory in Germany 2/
Fujitsu UK MD has confirmed Fujitsu is committed to UK however, which is not surprising as it has a lot of government contracts, including for ID document recognition for post Brexit systems bbc.co.uk/news/business-… 3/

Similar to ed tech people, the people who work in assessment seem to feel besieged by faculty themselves who they believe are hostile to the work. Both articles claim faculty strawman assessment in an effort to discredit the entire scope of the work.
Of course this claim about faculty strawmannirg assessment is itself a strawman, but I think it points to the disconnects between assessment offices/professionals and instructional faculty. The assessment folks are dedicated, well-meaning, and they feel disrespected.

It's #March and one of the earliest pieces of advice I got after founding Prajnya was to a #fundraising drive in this month. Like most advice, it was well-meant but incorrect.
NGOs in India, especially those that have 80G exemption, are supposed to spend 85% of what they receive in a year, within the year. Failing that, we could lose non-profit status. So the Board has to resolve to spend the money within the year.
So there we are, most of us small and under-staffed, planning for March in advance, worrying about money, when donors, thinking about tax savings, start writing cheques. Now we worry differently.
