the claim that CBP needs to set up a "transitional shelter" under the bridge ?1? to hold ppl who have turned themselves at the POEs for days "to be processed" is proposterous. They are not a capacity & "processing" does not take much. 1/

But setting this abomination of a 'specticle' out in the open for public & journalists to freely see and document fits right into Trump's narrative -- he blames the "weak immigration laws" for the humanitarian crisis. And please when was the last time that CBP allowed filming 2/

Suddently CBP is now releasing families & single adults directly claiming that they & ICE have no facilities. They are deliber overburdening NGOs providing shelters & you know that twitterer-in-chief will soon be lamentig about "catch and release": it all plays well w his base 3/

Of course, while @SecNielsen is allegedly "pulling" personnel presumably to cover "extreme" needs, ICE-ERO is roaming neighborhoods to arrest long-time residents who overstayed visas or have unexecuted orders of removal. For that they have plenty of detention space & personnel 4/

You see ICE "tracked for weeks" John Ford- who per @TMZ scaled a hill & showed up by Jenner's pool & then came back later at her porch [Oh the atrocity!]. ICE made it clear, the manhunt was necessary 2 avoid "tragedy involving violence directed at Kendall." Who are you, people?!
