THE GREEK GUY

Here are a couple of quick observations on PapaD's book.
2\

My evaluation of PapaD from last year as primarily a Greek partisan was re-enforced after reading his book.

3\

To his credit, PapaD is honest that he's not truly MAGA.

His roots are Country Club Republican (though his comment about being the only member of the Trump foreign policy team with "swarthy skin" suggests he's doesn't quite feel part of the club).
4\

PapaD claims he was insulted when Carson's campaign manager introduced as the "Greek guy."

However, his book only re-enforces his identity as the "Greek guy."
5\

In a previous thread, I highlighted several passages in which PapaD talks about the connections he made with prominent members of the Greek-American community while on the campaign.

6\

He gives a detailed description of his interactions with Greek defense minister Panos Kammenos.

Kammenos helps PapaD arrange the meeting between Egyptian president Sisi and candidate Donald Trump.
7\

PapaD admits to sharing the possibility that Russia has Clinton's emails with Greek foreign minister, Nikolaos Kotzias.
8\

After turning over documents to the Senate Intel Committee in May 2017, PapaD flees the country for Greece.
9\

PapaD's time in Greece reads like Michael Corleone's time in The Godfather. Very idyllic. A temporary repose before the reality of their American lives forces them out of paradise. (PapaD was actually stayed on Super Paradise Beach)
10\

This is the sentence that really gets to the heart of who PapaD's is.
11\

Note that he isn't concerned with persuading powerful liberals. Why should he? Most are already on board.
12\
13\

Hey Speaker, how about stand up for Americans who are censored on twitter?
14\

Adam Schiff might be the most reliably anti-Turkish member of Congress.
15\

As I pointed out previously, John Brennan is wanted in Turkey for questioning over the failed coup in 2016.
16\

All NGOs associated with George Soros were forced out of Turkey last year.
17\

After you read PapaD's book -- and I suggest you do -- then read Mike Flynn's op/ed published in The Hill and try to answer the following questions:

Were Flynn and PapaD on the same page?

thehill.com/blogs/pundits-…
18\

Does PapaD's claim that he was targeted because of his opposition to Turkey ring true?

What were his chances of getting hired with the Trump Administration when his views were not aligned with Flynn's?
19\

I've seen some suggestion that Mike Flynn was running an undercover operation and he didn't really mean what he wrote in The Hill.

But has Trump's Turkish policy in practice been more in line with Flynn or PapaD?
20\

I'll have more reactions to the book later. PapaD mentions several new names that bear scrutiny.

Check out Q's thread for some excellent discussion.
