Yesterday I was informed that my son is being moved to a specialist residential setting as his needs are too complex for thr LA-owned unit he's currently in. I said many times during proceedings that this current unit would not work and I listed various and robust reasons...
... for my opinion. I was seen as being obstructive and told it wasn't in my son's best interest to move him due to his attachment issues. I said it's better to move him now rather than later because it has gone wrong yet again...
... The bit that rankles the most is that the new unit is run by the organisation I recommended during proceedings. Feels validating yet infuriating.
It makes me wonder what the point of making me feel like the failure. It was/is unnecessary trauma added to an already-traumatic situation.
