Anorexia does not equal obesity related dyslipidemia. Does this deserve to be looked at further ? I think so. The mechanisms of LDL increase must play a factor in determine what the outcomes are.
Burning down a section of forest to contain a raging fire isn’t the same as running down a forest.

The why is different, the trajectory is different, the outcomes HAVE to be different.

In any dietary paradigm, when it’s new, a person naturally restricts until they get accustomed to eating within the framework. As time goes on they learn how to cook/bake within the framework & may slowly increase intake over the months/years.
Preventing Carb Creep

As people eat more they also tend to eat more sugars/carbohydrates. It’s best to periodically reassess what you are eating and exactly how much? Are you overdoing the protein bars & keto cookies? Make sure you reassess your dietary composition.

This confirms my intuition. Trade can't be completely disregarded as an issue, but neither should it occupy pride of place. For a decent chunk of voters, it's something they feel passionately about. For a majority of voters, it's something they follow.
Politicians like Sherrod Brown - who do well in Midwestern swing states - emphasize their populist bonafides on the issue.

USDA and FAO data both show fat going up since the dietary guidelines were released--and more than carbohydrates.

Here are USDA and FAO dietary trend data in the attached graphs.

As we can see, the "gap" between carbohydrates and fats narrows over time, indicating a faster rise of fats compared to carbohydrates. 2/n
Below is the above data, but with a breakdown for each nutrient class.

These observations suggests that the claim that reduced fat caused carbohydrates to go up is wrong. 3/n
