Good lawyers tell their clients not to do things that are illegal (or in this case, potentially impeachable). Bad clients (especially very dumb ones) get really mad at those lawyers.

1/ Before I became an activist, I was hated: simply for having progressive values as a Muslim. Supporting homosexuality. I was bullied, I was cursed on, I was gossiped about, the so-called community of mine - were horrible to my parents because I decided to stand up for humanity
2/ Yet there was a number small but existent of people who were Muslims and supported me.
But the moment I left Islam, despite the same values I've had before, I suddenly became a disgusting human being, because *Lord oh Lord* how could she leave Islam.
3/ I wasn't an activist then, I just publicly spoke about my Apostasy and said, I didn't agree and it's not for me. You'd think that's okay to do right? It's your choice people should respect it.
That wasn't the case there were messages about me very crude ones passed around.

Good thread. Also this is often illegal. Call the EEOC and complain if you are screened out from a job due to "must lift ..." clauses if it's not a lifting job.

Part of the challenge: as was confirmed to us by the HHS spokesman this weekend the agency and ORR are cooperating with ICE to run background checks on the family members who step forward to take in these kids per their parents' designation, and many of those families are afraid.

First of all, numbers. My partner joined me to football in a few countries & it's always the same question: Why aren’t there as many women at the ground as in DE?

She’s not wrong. Per @DLF, 35% of stadium-goers in Germany are women. In the Premier League, for instance, it’s 25%.
More than one million football club members in Germany are women. Which is a lot. And that could mean a change in how women fans are being perceived by their male counterparts and clubs alike.
