Alright, y'all incorrigible and extremely online folks, I'd like to ask you how hard do you actually post? You post hard, but how hard is that exactly? You willing to take a punch to the jaw for these posts? You willing to get arrested for posting?

Meet George Woodbey.

Let me cite some wisdom from Huey Newton: "You do not believe in the conclusions of one person but the validity of a mode of thought."

What I'm trying to say that Woodbey had not only the right intentions for the time (solidarity with immigrants, reaching out to demographics thought lost, and and Socialism)

but he had the right methodology

An unwavering commitment to Evangelism (or posting).

I think it's just about the right time to cite another tweet thread I participated in which lends direct credence to why I feel need to actually post a thread like this.

Let me cite right here side by side, the ignorant critique with the history of Black Socialism (taken from James H. Cone's "The Black Church and Marxism). Let's just say, white Socialists have oft ignored Black Socialists even when ambassadors have reached out.

I would be remiss if I was to say that I have not seen the same treatment given to @BlackSocialists. I regret that many people I followed on this site regularly accuse them of being cops or grifters, but look upon the educational resources they provide: blacksocialists.us/resource-guide

No, I say @BlackSocialists of today are the George Woodbey's of yesteryear, willing to go out into what was previously the domain of a mostly white social sphere willing to learn and take back what they learn to their communities and so I have followed too.

So let's look at what George Woodbey had to work with rather than facebook groups, twitter, and instagram. Y'all ever heard of Soapboxes and Street corners? This man has and long before call out threads, hashtags and subtweets, this is how you got clout.

So let me ask y'all again, HOW HARD DO YOU POST? Some of y'all go pretty hard in the paint, but what happens when the game isn't just behind a keyboard anymore? You gonna hold those views when face to face with a police baton? How about seeing people armed outside your house?

So, let me get to back this whole, "Is Christianity Socialist?"

Eh, I dunno, I'm the wrong guy to ask about that, but let's consult the text and what Rev. Woodbey thinks:

And let's not pretend our own Black Intellectuals of yesteryear were all on the same page, there were a few subtweets

Y'all ever post so hard that you lose a case in the criminal court of law, you lose that case AND YOU POST EVEN HARDER?!? THIS MAN COULD NOT BE STOPPED.

So let's get to our favorite Woodbey posts, because this man didn't just do one-off dril tweets, this man could do threads with the best of them.

Let us not forget, "What to do and how to do it" or "Socialism v Capitalism"

But let's get to the heart of it, on a scale of trashcan to actually somewhat decent of a human being, how patriarchal was this man's Socialism:

Also, let's not forget his personal history, he had already seen one emancipation, he was just waiting for the next:

And somehow, you're not a Socialist in any era until you've been disappointed by the Democratic Party. I think we see a parallel to the fate that awaits @peterdaou .

And so if you're still here with me, I ask you to do this: Read about socialism, Post so that you may bring others to our cause and post as hard as you can, in a way you can stand by your posts through thick and thin and also, I have one last favor to ask.
