1/ Why I don’t think Tech platforms can be allowed to regulate themselves.

I want to talk about Google and your local ⛽️ Gas/Petrol Station in the same breath.

Let’s say I buy some gasoline and a breakfast bar at my local station. What guarantees the integrity of the exchange?
2/ In the US, the breakfast bar ingredients & nutrition have to be listed. Similarly, inspectors guarantee the “weights and measures” to make sure my Gasoline is properly measured in quantity & quality.

Before we put something in our mouths or tanks, we require representation.
3/ Google, FB, Twitter, etc., are making representions that their products are absolutely free of political bias.

Ok. Who is inspecting & guaranteeing this representation exactly? We‘re entitled to know what is being fed to fellow citizens as we ultimately must pick up the tab.
End/ We deserve to have someone guarantee the representations being made to us all; that what we are ingesting is just as bias free as it is *represented* to be.

No Shadowbannig? Show us the inspection results. No political bias or selective enforcement? Let inspectors confirm.
