Awaiting press conference with Presidents Tusk and Juncker. Not really sure why to be honest. It’s 2.15am. Should definitely be enjoying a beer instead. 
And here they are. Tusk says during extension ‘course of action will be entirely in UK’s hands. It can ratify WA in which case extension will be terminated, it can reconsider whole Brexit strategy. Until end of this period UK will also have possibility to revoke & cancel Brexit.’
Tusk concludes with a 'message to our British friends'. He tells MPs: 'This extension is as flexible as I expected and a little bit shorter than I expected, but it’s still enough to find the best possible solution. Please do not waste this time.'
Juncker complains that more press have covered the Brexit crisis today than the EU-China summit yesterday. He says: 'We are over focussed on matters related to Brexit and insufficiently focussed on other matters that we work on. Our meeting [tonight] was too long a meeting.'
Juncker prompts laughs by suggesting be may have to leave halfway through any emergency Halloween Brexit summit. 'I have to leave my job on Nov 1 this year so my guess would be that we will have not a night session because if we have I’d have to leave the meeting at midnight.'
Tusk raises possibility of yet another extension if UK hasn't got act together: 'Political intention among Member States was clear - our wish and hope is UK will be ready with final solution end of Oct but I’m too old to exclude another scenario. Still everything is possible.'
Tusk also rather rains on Macron's review point in June by saying it won't be used to boot UK out with no deal: 'June is not a cliff-edge, a moment to take new decisions - it must be clear.'
Tusk and Juncker both say they 'trust' May and UK to take sincere cooperation obligation seriously. Juncker jokes that MPs like Jacob Rees-Mogg and Mark Francois saying Britain will be a 'difficult partner' for the EU is nothing new' to Brussels.
