Just watched the spire collapse. I am in tears.
Notre-Dame (Our Lady) Cathedral is literally Ground Zero in France. All distances in France are measured from this brass compass star just outside Notre-Dame. It is believed to be good luck if you stand on it and make a wish.
God bless chaplain of the Paris Fire Brigade, Father Jean-Marc Fournier, who saved the Holy Crown of Thorns. He entered flaming Notre Dame to recover holy relic - three years after he bravely helped Bataclan terror victims.

1. MSM and Democrats Win The Fake Messaging Battle

Well, that is a huge success for the media and the Democrats in atrociously promulgating a fake narrative successfully. I will give you that, because this is an atrocious lie, pure and simple.
2. I challenge anyone to send me an example of anyone making less than $500,000 having to pay more in federal taxes with the new tax law. You don't have to share any personal information. Just make up a hypothetical taxpayer for illustration purposes. Only the rich will pay more.
3. The fact of the matter is the only people who have to pay more in taxes with the new tax law are the very rich people in high tax states, and even those people will pay no more than 1-2% more. These would be the rich mostly in high tax coastal blue states.

Some of the opposition to @IlhanMN's remarks is purely partisan, but please don't think that is all there is to it. I am not a Democrat but count me among those who sincerely wish you success when you set out to do good.
2. And the two of you, @IlhanMN and @RashidaTlaib, have a unique opportunity to do a lot of good at home and abroad. I wish you good luck.

That said, you will not be able to do a lot of good if you dismiss all criticism out of hand.
3. @IlhanMN's remark about 9/11 was indeed quite offensive to many, myself included. It wouldn't be the worst thing for you to try to understand others' perspective on this. See my explanation:

Notre Dame fire was a ritual to ISIS. The moon is waxing right now. It will be full Friday morning, aka 3 days after the fire. If Michelle is claiming ownership of this fire so are the Bushes.
