What @jkbjournalist writes is true. Maria spoke to me all those years ago in 2003 about what she and her sister Annie went through at Epstein’s hands. I will never forget their mother telling me that Epstein had made her afraid to even walk the dog at night.
Maria and her mother spoke up years before #MeToo. They were so brave. And they were right to be afraid of the skeptics: Their story was pulled from my article after Graydon Carter was pressured by Epstein, who had bypassed security and appeared in his office.
