Hi. Once again, I'd like to remind you that the Guttmacher survey you keep citing to support this claim doesn't say anything of the sort.
The survey that @xan_desanctis keeps claiming proves that "most women" have abortions late in pregnancy for reasons other than fetal or maternal health 1) includes second-trimester abortions, and 2) explicitly drew from a sample of women who said they had *elective* abortions.
This is grossly misleading for two reasons. First of all, she keeps referring to these as "late-term abortions," which is not a term that has any broadly agreed upon medical meaning. In fact, almost none of the women in this survey had their abortions in the third trimester.
And second of all, since the survey excluded women who had abortions that were medically indicated, *of course* most of these women aren't going to report they had their abortions for health reasons. That's a tautology.
It would be great if we could debate abortion from a common base of facts.

@xan_desanctis is not an idiot. In fact she's one of the most well-informed people I've ever debated on the other side of this issue. That's why it pains me she keeps saying this "fact" that isn't true.
