In the interview, interviewer Nina Burleigh, whose last hit piece on Melania Trump in the Telegraph had to be retracted, apologized for, and resulted in $ for FLOTUS, she whines why Mueller couldn’t find Trump guilty of collusion. Schiff sympathizes:

Burleigh ask (presumably in all seriousness) how Barr’s comment about spying affects American trust in government. Apparently she - and Schiff - don’t realize it is the ACTUAL SPYING that burns trust in government.

In typical overwrought fashion, @DavidAFrench says we should melt down over “lies” by Team Trump. Once again, French is a sucker for the Left, regurgitating the listserv talking points that circulating yesterday afternoon (including the Hope Hicks comment) nationalreview.com/corner/the-mue…
Further, French (as usual) twists facts to suit his narrative. The “lies” about Russian contacts (Flynn, Papa, Cohen) came to light AFTER the election. So what Hicks said in Nov 2016 was accurate. Priebus was accurate. French (again) omits key details abt Trump Tower mtg
This is absurd: “The lies help demonstrate why the underlying investigation was so very necessary. When our intelligence agencies are aware of Russian efforts to interfere in the election and tilt it toward Trump...” Clapper, Comey, Brennan are trustworthy? Crossfire Hurricane...

The FBI told the FISC all about Steele’s reliability as a source. Which of course, they didn’t. No mention he was being paid by Clinton campaign and DNC. Straight-up Fusion talking points.
“Steele’s defenders also note that the information he provided which made it into the FISA warrant application to monitor Page was not far off.” Meh, close enough should be good enough to spy on a US citizen for a year.
