Further, French (as usual) twists facts to suit his narrative. The “lies” about Russian contacts (Flynn, Papa, Cohen) came to light AFTER the election. So what Hicks said in Nov 2016 was accurate. Priebus was accurate. French (again) omits key details abt Trump Tower mtg
This is absurd: “The lies help demonstrate why the underlying investigation was so very necessary. When our intelligence agencies are aware of Russian efforts to interfere in the election and tilt it toward Trump...” Clapper, Comey, Brennan are trustworthy? Crossfire Hurricane...
was a legit operation? The FISA warrant on Page was justified? Even Comey claimed he didn’t see the originating docs for CH. For French to suggest all this was on the up-and-up shows he’s either ignorant or dishonest (I vote for the latter based on previous observations).
French is helping to legitimize the biggest scandal in American political history. He’s giving cover to corrupt partisans like Comey, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe, Schiff, Yates, Weissman, Mueller, etc. After blasting Nunes repeatedly, French hasn’t written a word about Schiff.
There is nothing “conservative” or “principled” or “honorable” about defending the weaponization of the most powerful law enforcement and intelligence apparatus in the world against innocent people bc they supported the wrong candidate. Nothing conservative about covering it up.
There’s nothing “conservative” about justifying a treacherous Democrat administration that tried to sabotage a rival presidential campaign and oust a sitting US president. It is French, not Trump, who is the fraud.
