Wow! Just when you thought the ‘kids’ of @brightonbds had reached a pinnacle of stupidity, ignorance and ridiculousness they come along and prove that their journey into farce hasn’t yet concluded. Allow me to explain:

The kids have been quiet this week and a quick glance showed us they’ve spent the last week focusing on matters other than Palestine/Israel/Jews & on how they were saving the planet. We are truly grateful. We hope they spend far more of their time on this worthwhile project

However they thought they’d put their toe back in the water of stirring racial tensions using the ‘Corbyn method’. That is to tweet this at 8pm last night, when all them Jewish people were sitting down to eat Matzah at Pesach (I guess they thought we’d be too busy to notice!)

Let’s take a look at what they ‘discovered’. The kids, bless then, have only gone and found out that we don’t like....the BDS! These precious, little geniuses had unearthed the startling evidence that we, Sussex Friends of ISRAEL, partner in an app that fights BDS!

So to be clear & in case the poor loves are confused or in any way unsure; we loathe #BDS. We think BDS is a deeply antisemitic, racist organisation that has no interest in the Palestinian people & whose sole purpose is to generate hate against the Jews both here & in Israel

Specifically in our home city of Brighton, we think the BDS is hugely divisive and is a threat to the Jewish community of this great city. BDS has been the main reason that we have seen an increase in antisemitic incidents in our home over the last few years.

@brightonbds is riddled with antisemites who are being allowed to peddle evil and hate under the guise of ‘anti-Zionism’.

In conclusion kids; yes, damn right we partnered on this app!

Idiots!

Next time you think you’ve found something of interest perhaps you’ll stop and ask the grown ups if you actually have and if you want to get our attention maybe wait till our holy days are finished you disrespectful urchins!

Oh and incidentally if @brightonbds do feel the need to respond please refrain till tomorrow. For their information, tonight Jews in the diaspora will have a 2nd seder. The Jews in Israel don’t have a 2nd seder because they’re already home.

We, British Jews, celebrate this but we are at home in our cities and towns of the U.K. as we have been for centuries and much as you hate us and wish us gone, we ain’t going anywhere!
