If you're a minority of any sort anywhere - religious or ethnic, east or west, next 50 to 70 years will be very tough. The current largely accepted liberal values will decay further as opportunist populists will be exploiting the situation. Numerous examples.
The United West has fallen. It's just not announced and accepted as yet because if that happens, it'll act as catalyst. The ideas of individuality, liberty and diversity have had enough. Now would be integration, transformation as new values. Mass conversions, retention centers.
Look at China and India. In coming decades, it'll be a new normal to put a man or a family thereof in prolonged detention or under direct supervision of overtly zealous volunteers till they declare the subject to be "cleansed" and transformed enough.
It would be because current ideals are diversity and individuality so most of the world order stems from them especially in West. Once they're replaced with uniformity - the world will be a different place altogether. It might sound like distant fictional dystopia but it is not.
