2/ And the more I let it marinate, the more this comes to mind. He won’t be able to raise off of this. If he realized that a meaningful cap raise was out, then this could be the next logical* step to reframe the narrative. He has to be aware of the

3/ demand cliff, rapidly shrinking margins, and (small) cash runway. So, dump the auto biz debt, DIP, and come back as a car maker focused on the ride-share/taxi biz. I’m not saying it’s a good idea or makes sense in any traditional way. But perhaps in the mind of Musk...
