ya hate to see it, folks - chris wayne, the confederate avenger, got held in contempt for yelling at the court to go fuck itself after being sentenced to 45 days for 2 incidents of trespassing at the confederate statues downtown last year. he’ll serve an extra 10 for the outburst
brian lambert was also convicted on 2 counts of trespassing & 1 destruction of property for 2 separate similar incidents. he was sentenced to 55 days.
i only had a little time between the trial and my next obligation, so i’ll write more about it later, but i do want to note that wayne told the arresting officer that he didn’t know he was trespassing because he “has a learning disability and cannot read”
it’s ok to laugh at him for trying this shit because of course he knew (he’d already been arrested for it once before) and of course he can read (he was in the military meaning he took a written ASVAB test at some point)
