Happy May Day to all the sex workers who are criminalised and ignored in their calls for sex work to be recognised as work; to all the women doing unpaid or underpaid work in the home and in "the workplace".
Happy May Day to all the queer and trans folks working outside of the system to care for, protect and provide the medicine that our communities need but cannot access; happy May Day to all the drug users providing clean equipment and Naloxone to those who need it most.
Happy May Day to all the antifascists, the prison abolitionists and racial justice organisers working to bring down our violent system and refusing to wait for the liberals to give us a seat at the table.
This is all work and it is all struggle. Together we fight, we build and we will not stop. #MayDay2019
