Some of the key/telling moments for me today:
- Neither Lindsey Graham, chairman of the Senate Judiciary, nor AG Barr have read the Mueller Report in its entirety. (Their admission)
- Barr asking "what" and "who" in regard to the polling data shared by Manafort
- The AG's "Why would I?" clapback when asked by Blumenthal if he would share his notes re: convo w/Mueller on the letter, to which, HONESTLY, I cannot believe Blumenthal didn't just respond "Why wouldn't you?"

Guys. Come on. Open. The. Door.
- The words "fucking" (used by Graham when reading a Strzok text calling Trump "a fucking idiot") and "bottom feeding scum sucker" being used by Sen Sasse to describe Oleg Deripaska (A little lowest common denominator for my taste, if Im being honest)
- The fact that Barr had the letter from Mueller and sat on it, when being more proactive or forthcoming would have only helped his claim that there was no criminality involved.
So much of today felt disingenuous. That isn't unique to covering politics on Capitol Hill, but the back and forth with Barr left a lot to be desired.
The House will comb through his statements, no doubt, and find the weak points to bring up later.
