Lindsey Graham is Nunes #2. Spouts Trump propaganda at #Barr hearing. Reads Strzok texts, slams Steele dossier, slams FBI opening counterintel investigation of Trump: “We’re relying on you to clean this place up…make sure they don’t have an agenda. Will u look into it?”—“I will” 
#Barr says “nothing could be more dangerous than political interference” in an investigation. But also says it’s completely fine for a president to fire US attorneys for political reasons “because they’re political appointments” 🤔
#Barr: It would be a crime for president Trump to promise a pardon in exchange for a person not incriminating him in an investigation.
New GOP Judiciary chair Lindsey Graham is pretty frightening with power. He just interrupted Barr hearing to ask him whether Trump has the power to use defense funds to build a wall. Barr demurs. Herr Graham snaps, Look into it and get back to us.

#Barr says Mueller report will go to WHITAKER first, during questioning by Republican Senator John Kennedy who was urging the AG nominee to make public Mueller’s entire final report on Trump-Russia investigation.
Trump-Russia is a scandal whose depth & breadth is like no other in US history. But Republicans—incl Barr—are rushing Mueller to finish. Why? Imagine his report came out in 2yrs…after the next election, a Dem POTUS & Senate = NO pardons + sunlight on their misconduct, corruption

We're so down the rabbit hole of Trump ineptitude, corruption & treason, some are relieved Barr's at least competent. But he won't recuse from Mueller tho cirx would demand it for any other president. A competent partisan may be an even greater danger to rule of law than a hack👇
