@MinhazMerchant's comparison of NaMo with Mrs. IG is comparing oranges with apples. My views: A.Time eras were vastly different. B.She was merciless on her opponents. D. She gave a hard time to Nixon. She didnt have the blighters like PIL or the #SecularTabela gang to deal with.
Even if they were there she would dealt with them with an iron hand. She compromised with Corruption as a means for her continuance in power. Did not had to deal with past baggage. She played alongwith Bureaucracy. For her power was the end; not the means.
NaMo has had innumerable obstancles. #SecularTabela Gang. PIL Gang. TukdeTukde Gang. Biggest of all Judiciary who is putting more obstacles than the entire opposition can do.
He is dealing with a population that is increasingly knowledgeable and highly aspirational. Policies have to be different. Has to deal with the fact that his talent cub board was empty - now we have gems like Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Suresh Prabhu, Nirmala Sitharaman.
We have a world that is largely different than the time of IG. IT is more complex. More competitive world. Thanks to IG's patronization of Corruption, we Indians were way laid by Congress on the path of growth. That is something Minhaz does not talk of. Not fair.
He does not talk of the fact that India is the highest growth economy despite all the obstacles. He does not talk of the digital movement. Does not talk of Infra growth and development. Did IG even attempt it?? NO way. Biggest thing - A NO scam Government. Is it not a big thing?
A neglected NE that was made part of the mainstream India. Did IG do anything to NE?? Zilch. After all, during her reign only only, AASU grew. Khalistan movement grew because of her, Sanjay G and Zail Singh. Did NaMO do anything like this?
Mrs. IG did everything to ensure she and her family retains power. As simple as that. Whereas NaMo, till now has focused on Economic growth, foreign relations, Infrastructure as the pillars of his reign. Yes, we have stumbled. He has made mistakes.
