Here's an overview by @rrobinmcdonald re: GA Supreme Court hearing today on the flawed Lt. Gov. race that we at @CoalitionGoodGv are contesting. 127,000+ missing votes. 1/ law.com/dailyreportonl…
2/ The SOS says --"don't worry, you don't need to look . We tested those machines, and the numbers say that our fellow Republican won. And BTW, we and we alone program and control the machines."
3/ Fulton County and Gwinnett County say, "Yes, sir, yes sir!" Their county taxpayers are paying scores of thousands of $$ in legal fees to fight transparency. Q: Why are the voters okay with this? Why are they not squawking and telling the county to find out what happened?

Why is this important national news story important to @CoalitionGoodGv lawsuit in GA? It discloses that the new systems that GA plans to buy for $150 million are already outdated and insecure. They should NOT be implemented in 2020 (or ever!) apnews.com/e5e070c31f3c49…
2/ If GA tries to buy Windows 7 and implement now and then put in Windows 10 patches next year, it will be even more of a disaster. They had no chance of meeting a 2020 deadline before this Windows 7 news---much less now.
3/ That is like doing 2 systems conversions at the worst possible time---never mind choosing a flawed illegal system to begin with. Just a disaster from every angle.

Today we served a subpoena on KSU (former home of the SOS's Center for Elec. Systems)--where the servers were wiped after we sued them. The subpoena is focused on trying to figure out what happened to the key information on them. …altionforgoodgovernance.sharefile.com/d-s5a12752445c…
2/ If you have not read the collection of emails among the CES/KSU staff when Logan Lamb found the open server, and the CES non-reaction until 6 months later when he proved they did nothing.... read the big doc attached to the subpoena.
3/ You will find some jaw-dropping communications that result in doing nothing to secure the servers and then many months later, when sued, --wiping the records.

After seeing the sole source no-bid contract between ES&S and GA for programming the unauditable voting machines in 2018 and 2019, we issued a subpoena to ES&S today to learn more about why a corporation is counting GA's votes behind closed doors. …altionforgoodgovernance.sharefile.com/d-sc2896b8d579…
2/ GA Voters deserve to know why ES&S was paid $300,000 to build the ballots and program the machines when the law says that the SOS "shall" do those functions. SOS excuse was that since they no longer had KSU/CES staff to build ballots they had to outsource. Hmm. ....
3/ They had 3 ballot builders on staff at KSU and they have 3 now. So what is the $300K for? We will expect to learn more when they produce the subpoenaed documents.

1. It’s actually quite rude to ask someone how #deaf they are.

1.1 because there’s no direct relationship between how much hearing you have and how well you integrate with the hearing. Most of my friends can, technically, hear things I physically can’t.
2. Sign languages are actually languages, not just a fun accessibility tool.

It couldn’t be any clearer what Republicans in states like GA and TX are doing. They are purposely undermining voting rights for Black and Latino Americans. Here’s how they’re doing it:
1. #GA Republicans are holding up the voter registration of 53,000, mostly Black people. The state’s Secretary of State Brian Kemp who oversees the voting roll is in a race for governor against Democrat @StaceyAbrams: nbcnews.com/politics/elect…
2. Florida has barred ex-felons who have completed their sentences from voting in the state denying 1.5 million people the right to vote. A referendum on the ballot in November would restore voting rights to these people: nytimes.com/2018/09/26/mag…

Hearing just ended and we have news: The Chapo show might be moving across the East River

Judge considering motion to change venue to Manhattan so the Brooklyn Bridge isn’t closed to transport Chapo every day. @vicenews
Court also heard arguments about evidence in the case:

-Defense claims gov is withholding info that shows Chapo wasn’t the top leader of the Sinaloa cartel.

-Gov says it doesn’t matter if he was kingpin or middle manager, he was still a leader who gave orders to subordinates
