The moral argument against outlawing abortion is: in no other context do we force people to surrender part of their body to keep another person alive, the only reason we do in this case is to punish women for sexuality, even though it is *male* sexuality that gets women pregnant.
I don't think either side likes to admit this is the core of the issue. Both pros- and antis- consider it beneath them to say this is about sexual freedom. They frame it as about immediate life and death — murdered babies! Dead women! That's not the real issue.
But you know what, giving women equal sexual freedom to men *is* a matter of life and death, even beyond the direct medical implications. It's about defeating a culture in which women are second-class and exist for male pleasure. An attitude that lets rape and DV run wild.
We shouldn't be afraid to put the debate on that footing.

To look these politicians in Ohio and Georgia and Alabama in the eye and say: "You want to own women's sexuality. You want women to be slaves. We want women to be free."
