J.D. Gordon, the Trump campaign national security director, says it's "ludicrous" to suggest that Carter Page had a hand in changing GOP's platform on Ukraine. Chris Steele told State Dept this had been "confirmed" to him by congressional sources. dailycaller.com/2019/05/10/chr…
The Mueller report's discussion of the GOP platform issue has no mention of Carter Page. Page also denies working on it. So question is which congressional sources told this to Steele
To clarify — Trump campaign did not change the platform, which is what a lot of Democrats and journalists claim. They tabled a proposed amendment. In any case, Page does not appear to have been involved.

Cohen said that TMZ's Harvey Levin asked him about the pee tape rumor. He also discussed a random person who contacted him threatening to release the tape
Cohen also recalls a conversation he had with Trump about it. Seems like Cohen didn't necessarily believe Trump's denials, but then accepted it after Trump was adamant it didn't happen:

What they have on the "seeking & accepting" component is Trump Jr. taking the Trump Tower meeting and Trump calling on Russia to find Hillary's email at a public rally.
What is there to "decriminalize" there? Mueller determined that those were not crimes. He didn't say that they were crimes but decided not to charge. He said they didn't rise to level of criminality.

Steele told Kathleen Kavalec on Oct. 11, 2016 that Vyacheslav TRUBNIKOV (ex-SVR chief) and Vladislav SURKOV (top Putin adviser) were "involved" in the Trump kompromat situation. Kavalec also wrote "sources" next to their names.
Steele's June 20, 2016 memo has the claim about the Trump kompromat. "Source B" is described as "a former top level Russian intelligence officer still active inside the Kremlin." *Could* be Trubnikov.
