Imagine the satisfaction of firing billionaire Betsy Devos and replacing her with a public school teacher.
Just a reminder that the Secretary of Education is determined to defund public education to favor charter schools, in which her and her billionaire family are invested in.

This was my favorite part of the Shapiro/Neil interview.

Andrew Neil points out that the most popular ideas like M4A and the Green New Deal are all coming from the Left. He then points out that the Right's current ideas are to lock women up for miscarriages. Shapiro had nothing.
My biggest takeaway from the Neil/Shapiro interview is that American conservatism has gone so far right that it's now unrecognizable to conservatives in other countries. And it's gotten this far mainly because American MSM is inept when it comes to holding the Right accountable.
The BBC panel's reaction to the Neil/Shapiro interview is just as good as the interview itself. To say they were all unimpressed with Shapiro would be putting it lightly. American MSM should take notes, these people do not bite their tongues.

Plutocracy in a nutshell.

Billionaire Betsy DeVos parlays her money and charity, which undercuts public education, into a cabinet post.

She makes a show of donating her salary to the Special Olympics.

And she uses her position to cut funding for it on a vastly greater scale.
She is not a bad apple. She is an exhibit of a widespread plutocratic tendency: strive by philanthropic moonlight to save the world, while working by operational daylight to undermine the very people you aim to help — at much greater scale.
She’s hardly alone. Bankers do it. Tech people do it. So many plutes do it. What they don’t realize is that it’s better to be kind to people in your day job, where you have power, than in your little side hustles of virtue.
