This is what for-profit healthcare looks like:
Every year in America, lack of insurance causes 45 000 deaths and 646 000 bankruptcies. Meanwhile, healthcare CEOs celebrate their record-breaking salaries.

No other developed country on Earth allows this.

"It’s time for Democrats to stop proposing health care reform that relies on insurance companies to play fair. After two decades in the for-profit health insurance industry, I can assure you they never will" -Wendell Potter, ex-VP at Cigna Health Insurance

Some politicians keep suggesting that universal healthcare or even medicare-for-all is just too extreme for America, that what's needed is a more rational approach. You know what I find extreme and irrational? Letting people die so the rich can get richer.
Politicians can either protect the for-profit healthcare industry, or protect their constituents, but they can't do both. So next time you vote, make sure it's for someone who's on your side.
