"My lawyer is going to handle the whole trial. I am going to be in full compliance," former Fugees rapper Michel said after appearing in federal court in open collared and untucked blue dress shirt, dark denims, blazer and sneakers.
Michel also plugged his new late June 9-track release to reporters at a Washington courthouse, saying, "Every issue, everything that's been said around here, I'm going to address it on my Elon Musk EP that's coming out next month. That's all I have to say."

U.S. Judge Thomas Hogan said Cosko intended to hurt people with whom he disagreed, a “vicious offense” in an increasingly “intemperate and uncivil” world in which a gunman in 2017 opened fire on GOP lawmakers at a baseball practice and Democrats faced a mail bomber from Florida.
“People should realize, especially young people, you simply cannot do this without facing serious consequences,” Hogan said.

A civil forfeiture complaint last year alleged Michel & an ex-Justice dept official moved $ to support lobbying effort to end 1MDB investigation. Former RNC finance co-chair Elliott Broidy, aka Individual No 1, was involved, but has not been charged.

I'm amazed Elliott Broidy hasn't been charged related to lobbying on behalf of Jho Low and 1MDB. He and his wife's law firm received millions for work they did related to the case. Perhaps he's cooperating or working on a plea deal?
