Someone was in my DMs just now and guys let me just give you a freebie. Your maize yield is limited by the number of cobs in your field. If you are planting 20,000 seeds per hectare you get:
22,000 cobs (some double cobbing)
120 grams of dried maize per cob (I’m being generous)

22,000 cobs * 120 grams / 1,000 grams/kg / 1,000 kg/ton = a yield of 2.88 MT per Ha.
YOU NEED TO PUT MORE SEED IN THE FIELDS. And by the way, when you do, you need to put more fertilizer on too.

It is NOT HARD to look this stuff up. Plant 50,000 seeds per hectare, or even more (we did 70,000 last year).
