This was the radicalizing factor from researching my dumb little TV show about plutocrats -- they are nationless but organized.
Some believe they're beyond nation-state control because of their money, and some particularly in the States believe they're beyond the laws because their allegiance is to God. And money.
But future historians will chuckle at how we were already deep into post-nationalism at this moment and very few people saw it coming.
If you're afraid of the tyranny of the UN or the EU but not the plutocrats in the Panama Papers or Russian crime syndicates tied into international alt-right and religious movements, you're riding the wrong horse.
