With this massive mandate @narendramodi would definitely launch an unabashed majoritarianism,but thats not a Hindu majoritarianism, which Yogendra Yadav fears. It would be imposition of the ethos of one region of India, the North West, on the rest

The ethos will be imposed through a combination of gradual disenfranchisement of the people of the rest & cultural imposition. The first victims will be Hindu Bengalis everywhere, starting with Assam, then moving to WB. South not left far behind either. Jammu included too.

For Hindu Bengalis, tool will be massive disenfranchisement. The ball already been set in motion through NRC, by which 25/40 lakhs excluded are Hindus.They are being deported already & sent to detention camps. In most cases the demography marked for deportation is max Muslims.

This will be in addition to facilitating illegal infiltration of economic migrants from Bangladesh with the implicit goal of altering religious demography. Sounds strange? Look at who made least progress in fencing BD border, who surrendered WB’s land to Bangladesh.

Also, consider who is pushing to give WB’s water to Bangladesh. Ironically, it was the much maligned Mamata who stalled the Teesta treaty which would turn North Bengal to desert. That would be enacted now very shortly.

For Jammu, the Islamist encroachment and hegemony from Kashmir will be strengthened. For the South & tribal regions all over India free flow of missionary conversion money would be allowed.

Coming to cultural ethos, the Bengali culture will be the first calamity. We saw what happened to Bidyasagar’s statue in the heart of Kolkata. Next to go would be Rabindranath, Michael Madhusudan, Subhas Chandra Bose statues. Replacements would be Birla, Deendayal, Patel statues

On language, Hindi, that is Urdu, would be patronized hugely. We already see @BjpBiplab and other Bengali borns of BJP-RSS Ji ing each other. Step 1 of linguistic colonization. On food, vegetarian choices would be encouraged. So all the Hindu Bengali Shakto rituals are out.

Ethnic hate against Bengalis and South Indians would only increase. But that’s probably the least of our worries now.

How did we get here? This is the part that @_YogendraYadav powerfully argues. Outright incompetence of the opposition. Tweeted repeatedly that @MamataOfficial ran one of the worst campaigns ever, except in the last phase, only abusing @narendramodi without being substantive.

Mamata didn’t even mention Teesta, ethnic hatred. One can’t convince a populace overnight that BJP-RSS is anti Bengali racist. Even if a Bidyasagar statue is demolished. People will see it for a one off hooliganism rather than a pattern, particularity given how crafty Modi is

It took the gigantic RSS machinery 10 years of campaign to stick the anti Hindu label on Congress. Mamata had to harp, harp, harp for at least 3 years. But then campaign wasn’t her only issue.

Rampant corruption, rampant appeasement of Muslims, hooliganism, no dogged attempt to bring jobs for educated youth. Demanding CAB without Bangladesh, Nepotism, dynasty, Enough to turn off a people. And then the horrendous campaign.

I know for a fact that many who had never voted for BJP in WB earlier have voted. So I do not doubt the astronomical figures for BJP in WB the exit polls are giving.

What I am however convinced that while Mamata is guilty of gross misrule, BJP would usher in more extensive damage, through disqualification of lakhs of Hindus through NRC, deportation, detention camps, Assam on a larger scale, linguistic colonization, cultural obliteration

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Modi & Shah will not touch CAB with a ten foot pole. That was a device to fool. The bill may again be brought up before next poll & similarly dumped.

Given my dire forecasts, I am afraid for the religio-cultural ethos of the non-Hindi speaking areas & the people there. What do I want? To be perfectly honest, the true ugly face of fascism to be out in the open as soon as possible.

But I am afraid Modi is far too smart for that. He is a modern day Gandhi. He will bring lasting damage under cover of Hindu religiosity & spectacle, slowly but surely.
