Singapore didn’t set out to achieve river beautification. They set out to achieve river purification. Huge difference. And they set phased targets to achieve it. They didn’t expect overnight magic.

Our idiots didn’t address the source of pollution much. They spent more money on beautification which is having disastrous results..
Every project PEMANDU had touched has turned into a piece of shit. Big Fast Results is never sustainable.
