I'm in a constant state of tension trying to help older ministers understand that millennials will not return to a hateful church with a hateful Gospel...
I don't care how many programs you run... It ain't happening
You pressed us to go to seminary to equip us for the work... Don't make us pretend like we didn't go
I know that we can use the text harmfully... I've seen the impact that poor theology has.
A person's orientation is not the enemy of the church...
From the foundation of the church... People be gay...I don't know what else you want me to say
I don't have enough oil, anointing, or scripture to... Pray the gay off of somebody... And I have no desire
I wouldn't serve a God that creates only to crush.
If your theology continues to be small... So will your congregations.

Mostly because we (churchy types, Evangelical informed faith spaces, ect) spent a smooth twenty five years trying to ideologically beat the gay out of people

The FBI uncovered that FBI agents agreed to change the classification of a Hillary email to help keep it private if the @StateDept will let more FBI agents overseas. This corruption was never prosecuted by @Comey. This discovery was not public until now. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6…
Basically, the same agency (FBI) that was supposed to investigate/prosecute the negligence of classified emails was implicated in a helping the target of the investigation (Team Hillary) keep some emails from Congress. @JudicialWatch uncovered this.
Lisa Page emailed Strzok and other officials in mid October 2016 that the document exposing this planned corruption is subject to FOIL request dated for release in late October 2016. Page/Strzok were atop the anti-Trump stuff while not prosecuting this FBI-State corruption!

In some US cities where kids are at risk of suicide or gang initiation, the community leaders realised something. Many children do not turn to gangs or suicide because of adversity.
Rather, some do so because they feel alone. Others, because they have no options and the flicker of hope has finally gone out.

SOME RECENT THOUGHTS ON THE CHURCH | I'm beginning to understand that almost every #socialmedia post (complaint) that begins with "The #Church", actually means, "The Pastor". Part of the problem is the "inversion" of the Christian model.
Instead of physical churches being training grounds that equip saints for the work of the ministry in the world; they've become central expensive bureaucracies where Christians bring their gifts to church. Then, the churches centrally dispense on their behalf, through Pastors.
So, when we say, "Church doesn't do something", we actually mean, "The Pastor doesn't do it", since local churches in Nigeria are "undemocratic" and run by Pastors.
