Glad to be part of this convo! Need to define terms to begin:
Here are a few helpful ways I think of #racism:
Racism = Prejudice + Power to impact the lives and futures of the “other”. #LiberatingEvangelicalism 1/
Racism = the implementation of structural, systemic, legal and/or political hierarchy of human belonging based on arbitrary physical features. #LiberatingEvangelicalism 2/
Racism = the #racialization of society’s systems and structures by #intent OR by #impact. 3/#LiberatingEvangelicalism

Why the #Bible, and why not other "holy" books?
The Bible...
Is breathed out by God (2 Tim. 3:16).
Is necessary for life (Mt. 4:4).
Presents the possibility of scientific inquiry (Ps. 111:2).
Explains human and natural origins (Gen. 1-2)...
The Bible alone gives a basis for universal moral values (Ro. 2:15), reason (Is. 1:18), the intelligibility of the universe (Ps. 19) and the correspondence of human minds to nature (Gen. 1:26-27) and the existence of unseen laws governing the created world (Heb. 11:3)...
Only the Bible presents a true, complete and internally-consistent worldview (Prov. 30:5) and a unified story centering all of history (correctly) on a universal theme (Lk. 24:44-45).

Only the Bible teaches the true and truly Good news that saves (2 Cor. 11:4; Rom. 1:16)...

The five most important points on the difference between the gospel of the kingdom with the #gospel of grace;
@ThaRealJgibbs @PeterDerrida @BWSchank @cbmccranie1769 @adrianturner01 @Standing_Word @higham_mark @PaulsWalls2 @JeffPassage @sonofDaVid512 @TylerMarkJ @NahumOBrien First, concerning Jesus' message in the period of the gospel of the Kingdom's announcement (pre-crucifixion):
1. The 12 apostles were only sent to Israel (Matthew 10:5-6; compare with Matthew 15:24 and Romans 15:8).

3. The apostles were given the power to perform miracles (Matthew 10:8).
4. Believers don't need to prepare for tomorrow's needs (Matthew 10:8-10; Luke 12:32-33).

You don’t have to Bleach to Glow!

No, you are not toning, you are bleaching.
You know how I know?... I tone too! I have been toning for 5years consistently and I am still one of the blackest radiant people I know! Igbo too😉

Yes there’s a difference

THREAD!
#SipsZobo
Toning is great for your skin, if you are really toning!
No, toning isn’t meant to change your complexion.
In cosmetics, skin toner or simply toner refers to a lotion or wash designed to cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores, usually used on the face.👇🏽
#DrZobo
Toners can be applied to the skin in different ways: On damp cotton wool.
Toning (based on dermatologist's prescription) evens out uneven skin tone, corrects dark spots, discolorations and so on. Toning is actually part of a skin cleansing process because it benefits the skin.👇🏽

1. The “Statement on Social Justice and the Gospel” perverts both the gospel and one of its components, social justice.

#Gospel
#SocialJustice
2. The first paragraph of the statement’s introduction asserts there is “an onslaught of dangerous and false teachings that threaten the gospel.” This is error.

The reality is that the gospel is not threatened by lies, and falsehoods pose no danger to it.
3. The statement’s introduction then identifies the culprit as social justice but places the phrase in quotes, allowing the reader to assume that social justice is not a real concern for those seeking to live out the gospel of Jesus.

Gospel for Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time: Did Jesus get his power to cast out demons from the Prince of Demons? #gospel usccb.org/bible/readings…
//The scribes who had come from Jerusalem said, "He is possessed by Beelzebul," and "By the prince of demons he drives out demons." (Mk 3:22) #Gospel
